92/93

The Australian Embassy
Paris
92/93

This work was made possible by the generous support of the Australia Council, during an artist residency at the Cite International des Arts.
After a period of six months the finished work was exhibited at the Australian Embassy.

The work is made of about 2000 tightly rolled newspapers woven between stainless steel wire. This installation was over 9 metres in length.

This work represents 7 years visual research into Douat's 'permutation of the square' treatise 1764.
